Watching a film has multi-generational appeal. More and more Independent venues are popping up all over the country and there maybe scope for the Club to have its own, showing the latest releases.
There is always much discussion about how to make the Club more appealing during winter months and a small cinema, a la Soho Farmhouse, plush, velvet, comfortable and cosy with soft lighting would make an excellent addition to Member experience. I for one wold happily give money to the Club to watch a film rather than Curzon and the like. Please can we consider this as part of the East Wing development

You may be interested to know that the original Silver Screen team (Julian and Maria) proposed linking in to the special feeds from opera houses, theatres, etc that come to local cinemas.
It is not difficult technically and the Club has just invested in a new high grade projector and screen.
What is more difficult is sparing the manpower to organise it but if you and your friends can show there is demand there ought to be a solution.
